Manage My Wedding App FAQs

 

Q. How do I reset my password?

Please select 'Forgot Password' from the login page within The App. This will then send you an email with instructions. If you don't receive the email please check your spam folder. Please email ask@managemywedding.com if you have any questions or can't log in.

Q. How do I delete my app account and data?

To delete your account and data entirely, open the app, tap on settings (gear icon at the top of the screen) and select delete account.

Please note that once you select delete, your account and data are not recoverable.  Should you wish to have an account again you would need to create a brand new account from a new email address and start from scratch.

Q. How do I reset my budget?

If you wish to reset your wedding budget, you can do this through the settings under 'Wedding Information'. If you want to reset every budget line item within your estimates, then you must click on each individual item listed and amend the price. 

Q. How do I reset my wedding date and/or time?

If you wish to change your wedding date and/or time, you can do this through the settings under 'Wedding Information'. 

Q. How do I change the currency? 

Please go into your app, go to settings, then go to edit my details, change your selected country and this will change the currency for you. 

Q. How do I reset my app? 

You cannot completely reset the entire App from scratch. You can make changes to your wedding information and edit your details from within the settings .

If you realise you have deleted budget items or to do tasks and wish to re-start your entire App then you must have someone else create a new wedding and invite you as a planning partner to the new wedding. You can then select the new wedding under 'Planning Partners' within the Settings. Or you can set up a new account with a new email address (we suggest a wedding email address you set up in you and your partners name). If you have paid for premium access, you won't have to pay for it again as it is linked to your apple or google account.

Q. How do I invite my partner, Mum, bestie or really anyone who is going to help me plan into my wedding in the App?

Go to your homepage of the app, click on settings, Click on planning partners, click 'add a planning partner' and enter their email. This will email them an invite to join you. You will both need to pay for the premium access to be able to do this but it is only a small one-off fee.

 Q. How can I use the App for more than one wedding?

We understand that you may like to help others plan their wedding or you might be a wedding planner who wishes to utilise the Manage My Wedding App for your clients. You can have as many weddings within the App but you can only select other weddings to work on once they have invited you into their Wedding as a planning partner.

To flick between weddings you head to settings from the home page, click on 'planning partners' and then select the correct wedding from the Weddings list.

 

Q. How do I delete a guest? 

If you are in the app, you simply swipe left on the guest and then click on the rubbish bin icon which will delete them.

Q. How do I delete my guest list? 

Unfortunately you can't delete your whole guest list at once but you have to go through and delete your guests individually.

Q. How do I add a plus one to the guest list?

If you know the guests name, then you could just enter their name. If you don't you could enter your original guests name and then put a dash and then a +1 next to it so it adds up the total of the guests properly.
